About the Artist
Brad Mason has been engaged in creative endeavors to improve the quality of life for people over thirty years. He enjoys enhancing and capturing the wonder of beauty that surrounds us always so that others who may have been distracted can see it too. Brad has helped children with emotional and behavioral disorders such as Autism, ADHD, and OCD through counseling, psychological services, video courses, documentaries, research, books, and workshops, training thousands of parents, teachers, counselors, psychologists, and school psychologists all over Texas, Louisiana, and several other countries.
Brad most enjoys his ability to see beauty where others see something as defective or without value. He loves to help children who have been labeled as problems, or bad, emphasizing their inherent good qualities so they and their caregivers learn to see them in the light of joy, beauty, health, and love. Brad also works with reclaimed wood and other materials to create art that can enhance the living spaces for others on a daily basis. Living art furniture for the art of living.
Brad hopes you will find something in his work that reminds you to stop and take in the beauty, to stop being distracted by your fears, your worries, and your stress about what needs to be done next and what may go wrong. He firmly believes that by focusing on what is good, right, anything joyous, lovely, and praiseworthy, we create more of the same in the world around us both for ourselves and others.
Brad is also a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology, Licensed Psychological Associate, and Licensed Professional Counselor. He owns and operates the Autism Clinic and Family Counseling Center in Georgetown, Texas, right off the historic town square. Brad has authored and published books such as Your Dream Book, a collection of his photography art accompanied by a message to help anyone get clear on what they want and be able to make their dreams come true. Brad also published Diagnosis Autism or Aspergers: Now What? What to Do, What to Expect, How to Explain!, as well as Autism/Aspergers: Understanding from the Inside Out, My Power Book (a book about personal power in relationships both with others and the self), and Counseling Tools for Kids in Schools. These titles are available on Kindle, Amazon, and Brad’s video course website, www.intensivecareforyou.com.
